After Service
Your Affidavit of Service
Every file we complete includes a sworn affidavit of service — a court-ready document accepted by all Ontario courts and tribunals.
Service is attempted
We attend at the service address and attempt to personally serve the respondent. Each attempt is GPS-logged and timestamped. We make up to three attempts before reporting back.
Service is completed
Once service is achieved — personally, by substitution, or by leaving documents at the address — we prepare a detailed service report documenting exactly what happened.
Affidavit is sworn
Our process server swears the affidavit of service before a commissioner of oaths. The affidavit states: who was served, when, where, how, and what documents were delivered. It meets all Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure requirements.
Documents delivered to you
We send you the signed, sworn affidavit by email (PDF) — typically within 24 hours of service. You can file it directly with Kingston Courthouse or any other Ontario court without modification.
